The Government has set out the following national qualifying criteria for a discretionary grant fund. The fund has been setup to assist small businesses with high fixed property-related costs. The business will need to demonstrate that they have suffered a significant fall in income due to the Covid-19 crisis. The grant fund is only available to businesses with fewer than 50 employees and they must have been trading on the 11th March.
Businesses which are eligible for the existing Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Grants or Small Business Grants are not eligible.
This form is provided to capture the information required by the council to verify and make the payment of these grants.
This discretionary grant fund is an application process with a closure date of the 21/06/2020. Once the application process has closed, the Council will then process bulk grant payments to all eligible businesses.
